Yes. I have 3.0 on mine, and I use tmobile. You just have to remember not to install the newest software when you connect it to iTunes.

Alright I have a 3G 8gb Iphone 3.0 firmware. When I receive MMS pictures they are horribly compressed and looks like crap!! Is there any way to fix this??

well i downloaded 3.0.1 firmware from quickpwn to do the restore and then use redsnow to jailbreak/unlock, now everything bak to normal just need download some app again. thanks guy

just jailbroke and unlocked a iphone 2.2.1 for a friend, took me like 10 minutes easy stuff.

I've been told that you can't restore(downgrade) from 3.1.2 which is what I have is this true?

^ i dont think its the same because his is 3.1.2. the site you give him only show how to downgrade from 3.1 to 3.0.
