Alright, I jailbroke my 2G Iphone on 3.0.1 FW and I have some problems:

1) battery drains effin fast! dies in like 3 hours of minimal usage(texting, checking the time).

2) phone gets hot when using or charging.

3) not receving all calls (some go straight to voicemail) and i receive no missed calls, and receiving texts late as well. When I make calls, sometimes the go through and sometimes it just rings and goes to their voicemail but they don't receive a missed call from me.

So my question(s) are:

1) Does/has anyone experienced the same problem(s)?

2) Should I downgrade from 3.0.1 to 2.2.1? Will downgrading fix the problems?

3) or maybe my Ihpone is just broken?

I've already restored and rejailbroke my iphone and still the same problems

for one thing, you should of kepted your 2G with 2.2.1

did your phone have battery drain before? I bet it did... phone battery is on it's way out.

i got the phone on 3.0.1 so I didn't upgrade it. and idk about the battery life? i bought it used. when i charge the phone while it is off it doesnt get hot but if i charge it while it is one it gets hot and it gets hot when i use it or when its just chilling in my pocket. i read that when people upgraded to 3.0 FW that they started having the same problems as me.

any1 know how to make push notification work on a jailbreak unlocked 3g? tried to install push fix but it crash my iphone so not going to install that thing again.

so i tried more last night/this morning and still not getting geohots face on my screen when it says running.

read a few things online saying with the 3g they ran it with Itunes open and it worked. i guess im gunna try it like that tonight and see what happens.

im so annoyed with this "stupid easy" jail break. its been a pain in my ass from jumpstreet.

it was a communication issue with the phone and computer.

after running it with itunes open its working just fine.what a fucking relief. god i was going crazy.

took 40 goddamn seconds once it communicated with the iphone.

what did you do?
during jail break you had an att card inside phone?

i get push notify, but it's not correct information... most of the time it's spanish text from someone else to someone else
