Eh..until E85 becomes more available...no thanks. Lots of turbo KA guys have been going that route because they don't feel like building a motor. I'll stick with pump gas until it's available in the hood

Gotta start somewhere...since we've been building some pretty damn fast Evo's out of a garage..imagine what we'll do once we purchase a shop...we'll be moving into an official location here in SA with an AWD/2WD dyno in the near future...Houston will definitely be invited.

22-23 psi is low boost when high boost is 28-30 psi. On our built motor's we run 30psi for low boost and 44+ psi for high boost

Ported stock turbo is still a stock turbo.

44+ psi?? LOL gawd damn. Guess I'm just used to seeing 550+ on 6lbs alone on the almighty LSX motors

How efficient are the turbo's once they're ported?

Not bad, they used a ton of parts to get there... I made 12.4 with a 2.0 60' with just a butt load of spray and 21 psi of boost in my vw.

Sucky driver is sucky.

The stock IX turbo which this Evo has runs out of efficiency around 30psi. No point in running it past that point. The T3 turbo's that I run and on our higher powered Evo's...run out of efficiency in the 48+psi range.
