Costas, just wondering, how do you handle things when the wedding party has drug their feet so much you have run out of time for pretty much anything other than basics?

Not that I felt any pressure running my first wedding shoot this past weekend, but my wife, my helper and I constantly had to 'help' the wedding coordinator move things along, and as a result, the time we had to actually shoot the pictures the bride wanted was cut VERY short.

I pre-plan as I work, if I see a spot near by that'll work as a quick bridal shoot I keep it in mind. A few weddings ago I only had around 10 minutes if that for the bride and groom shots after the ceremony. I got at least 10 good poses out of it, it's all about just being prepared for whatever is thrown at you really. Sometimes the scheduling can suck so you just gotta work with it.

I was the second shooter for a wedding this past weekend. It was the first time I've experienced strict rules for photographers in the church (no flash, can't go past the last pew, and staying up in the balcony is preferred). All these limitations definitely threw a kink in the ideas that I'd had for the ceremony, but I it was definitely a learning experience.

Being the second shooter, I tried to capture small details and moments rather than the obligatory shots, which were left up to the primary shooter. It was a lot of fun to be able to experiment with different lighting and settings to get new effects.

looks like you did pretty good theo. I've got one like that coming up in 2 weeks. had to sign a 'release' from the wedding chapel place acknowledging all their rules.

however, I think the entire wedding (including guests) will be less than 15 people. so, no pressure
