thread question - Houston-Imports.com

Just wondering why on the for sale forums once an item or items have been sold and the op clearly states that the item/items have been sold and for the mods to lock the thread up nothing happens and the thread remains open.. then along comes someone that decides to ask a question on a thread that should of been closed long ago..shall we pm a moderator everytime a thread we start needs to be locked??

It may not be locked b/c a Mod hasn't seen it yet. Would be nice if we had the option to edit, lock, or delete our own for sale threads though.

well yeah but i can go back to threads from way back that till this day are still open, and yes having that option would be nice =)

i to this day get a call about a mytouch3g slide i put on 2 months ago .. even after it being locked the same day

Yeah that's why I don't put my number down for the contact info. I have gotten a few emails inquiring about things months after I have sold them though.

With the traffic that our For Sale forum gets, it's not logical for them to have to go through every thread to see if the item sold or not.

The reason for not being able to edit our threads has been stated over and over. Just use the minute or two it would take and PM a mod to get your thread closed.
