[Movie] - Prometheus (Ridley Scott)

OH YEAH! The supposed prequel to Aliens Quadrilogy but not sure on that. Looking pretty EPIC so far.

Really excited for this.

Comparing this to the trailer for Alien in 1979, there are a LOT of similarities.

Alien was and still is my favorite sci-fi movie. it was the reason i was scared of the dark when i was younger. i was always curious about the "giant in the chair" inside the derelict craft that had all the eggs.

Ridley Scott is one of my favorite directors and I really hope this movie swings him back towards quality. He does dark, gritty scifi so well.

For a movie that was released in the 70's, Alien is STILL scary as fuck, lol.

Huge Alien Trilogy fan here as well. It's funny you mention that giant space gun chair in the first Alien. Look again at the trailer to Prometheus and fast forward to :45. It looks exactly like the one from Alien. It's too coincidental to not notice that. Also I like how the text of Prometheus shows up just like how all the Alien's movies started. Also all over the web you can find some more similarities, apparently there will be another Bishop like character as well. So it has to tie into the Aliens movies somehow, so I cannot wait!

And here's a screen grab of that moment I mentioned.

That's the Space Jockey's chair.

Watching the Prometheus trailer, you can see them studying (or about to study) a space jockeys head at 0:33.
