Good lens to take to Minute Maid Park?
I read the camera policy and it said they don't allow lens longer than 4.5 inches. I own a 50mm, 8mm Fisheye, and the 18-55mm lens that came with the camera. I was thinking about purchasing the 55-200, but I'm afraid it might be longer than 4.5 inches. I'll be sitting 15 rows back from the 3rd base side of the field.
I own a Nikon 3100 btw.

the 55-200 is a very versatile inexpensive lens. Just keep the stocker 18-55 on the camera and put the 55-200 in your pocket. Hell I put a 70-200 in my GF's purse and nobody said anything.
Another really awesome lens is the 500mm f/8 mirror reflex lens. Super cheap and crazy zoon if your outdoors/roof open. edit: on Amazon for under a Hundy: |
